How is the Authority Site different from the Signature Site?
The Signature Site is for focused businesses with one clear audience, one core offer, and a straightforward scope, and up to 6 pages, done in about two weeks. The Authority Site is for everything else. More pages, more complexity, multiple service lines, funnels, integrations, brand identity, e-commerce, or any combination of those things. If you’re not sure which fits, book a scoping call, and we’ll tell you exactly where you land.
How does the scoping call work?
It’s a free call where we map out your project together: what you need, what the scope looks like, and what it will cost. You walk away with a custom proposal built around your specific project. No pressure, no pitch, just clarity.
How long does an Authority Site take?
Most Authority Sites are complete in 4-6 weeks. Larger or more complex projects, such as those involving brand identity, photography, video, or significant custom functionality, may take longer. We’ll give you a realistic timeline in your proposal so you know exactly what to expect before you sign.
How much does it cost?
Authority Sites start at $6,500 and go up from there. Everything is scoped specifically to your project needs, which is why we always start with a scoping call before putting a number on anything.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes! Your project is split into 4 equal payments. The first payment is due at signing to secure your spot. The rest follows automatically over the project timeline. Want to pay in full? You can do that too.
Can I add brand identity to my Authority Site project?
Absolutely! And for many Authority Site clients, it’s part of the scope from the start. If you need a logo, color system, typography, brand voice, or a full brand identity system built alongside your website, we handle all of it in-house. Brand identity starts at $1,750 and is scoped into your project proposal.
Can I add a content shoot to my Authority Site project?
Yes! The majority of our Authority Site clients include a content shoot as part of their project. We coordinate the photographer and videographer based on what your site needs and schedule everything into your project timeline so it flows seamlessly into the build.
Can you build on Shopify?
Yes, if your project involves e-commerce we build on Shopify. We’ll talk through whether Shopify or WooCommerce is the better fit for your specific needs during your scoping call.
What if I already have branding or photography?
No problem at all! We work with what you have. If your existing brand assets are strong we build the website around them. If there are gaps we’ll flag those during the scoping call and talk through options.
What do I need to have ready before I start?
That depends on your scope. We’ll map out what we need from you, when we need it, and how to get it to us. For most Authority Site clients, this includes brand assets, content, any existing site access, and third-party platform credentials for integrations, if we aren’t designing or delivering those during your project.
What happens after we launch?
You get a post-launch support window for functionality questions. After that, we offer Website Care Plans to keep your site updated, secure, and running smoothly. We’ll talk through those options at offboarding.
Do you work with businesses outside of Winston-Salem, NC?
Yes! We work with clients anywhere because most of our process happens remotely. If your project includes a content shoot, we’ll coordinate photographer availability and travel based on your location for a travel fee.
